14/12/01 -- Freaky stuff
Sorry, it's been a while. Blame hospital appointments and the fact i've been staying at my parents place. I just got through watching an episode of the A TEAM. Highlights included a machine that fired cabbages through a tube at high velocity. Of course, this left the bad guys too startled to fight back ! The main event however, was Murdock playing with a ouijji board. His eyes rolled back and it started to spell something beginning with D. He then put on a deep voice and said : "DDDEEECCCKKKEEERRRR", "DECKER IS COMING". It was one of the scariest things i've ever seen. I'm gonna be hearing that in my sleep tonight i swear.

25/11/01 -- Neuro Myopathy i decided
i'd do a piece about myself and what's
been going on over the last few months.
Maybe just an 8 page mini comic, i don't
know. It's written up, so i'm gonna throw
it over to Andy for a bit of feedback.
Writting it has really put things into
perspective. I was thinking about getting
a few of my fav small press artists in on
it - maybe a page each or something like
that. It's still early days yet. I've been
assured that the supercomputer (capable
of light speed and internet) will be

20/11/01 -- Smashing There's
some sort of smashing pumpkins best
of/singles album coming out. Anyone know
? Anyone care ? Thought not. Started
some more 'STUFF' 3 panel strips, but had
to abandon them cos my hands were very
weak. Still, sometimes it's easier to
finish a page than start one. The wife
and i are going to the Metrocentre in
Newcastle upon Tyne in 2 weeks. It's
brilliant there i swear. Gonna get all
the xmas shopping done at once.
Well........ again : "Best laid
plans..." I've got a
hospital appointment tomorrow. I'm going
up for treatment. Big thanks

15/11/2001 -- B&Q do nice coffee I thought
i'd get an update on Tues, unfortunately
i didn't get one. Andy has offered me
some computer time tomorrow morning, so i
thought i'd do another log entry before
then. Went to see
my mates band play. He neglected to
inform me that they were playing upstairs
(instead of downstairs), so i didn't
actually get to see them. I had a good
night out anyway. The missus, a few mates
and 3/4 of the Luke boys were there. It
wasn't a great night but it was good to
get out of the house nonetheless. I'm sending
some artwork off tomorrow, so look out
for my stuff in some notable
publications. I was
making some arrangments with my dad to
have my computer upgraded and connected
to the internet. Probably won't be before
xmas. That's your
lot, i'm still knackered from my todays
hospital appointment. Following that, i
was dragged round B&Q by my parents
who were looking at doors (sadly, not the
60's rock group). How interesting. 15:55
12/11/2001 -- Echoes I was out
in the town today. I got the best of Pink
Floyd album (i'll shut up about it now),
and some odds and sods. I also stopped
into my local for a pint and some great
food. (www.wolseys.com) I bought the
missus some lunch and a new top, so
that's me in her good books for the rest
of the day ! My mates
band (Suki) are playing that pub on
wednesday night, but i don't know if i'll
go or not. Here's the

10/11/2001 -- Stu is smiling ! Yes, it's
true ! He's smiling cos he got his
benefits through. J Top of my
'to do' list is : Print a comic, and
subscribe to the internet. Yay ! Might
even treat me and the missus to a night
out. I'm gonna get the best of 'Pink
floyd' (finally) and the best of Nina
Simone. I felt
really crap this morning, but then me mam
came round with the letter. It's funny
how money puts you in a good mood isn't
it ? I've been without money for so long,
it's excusable.
20:28 07/11/2001 -- Tv sucks ass tonight
...so i thought i'd talk to you people. Well, when i say "sucks ass" i mean : it does at the moment. There's a program on later about 'The Undertones', one of the few great bands to emerge from N.ireland. Then theres 'Band of Brothers', a wartime drama. Not bad viewing overall i suppose.
I just got through watching the soapstars episode of Emmerdale. Who comes up with this rubbish ? I'll never know.
I just did a review for Andy's online TRS. Dunno if it was good enough to print -- cos he's not answering his phone. Probably out picking up women, and drinking sailors under the tables. Some have all the fun.
Gonna get letter writing now. I'm making a few submissions of my page work to highly regarded small press publications. Oh yeah, site got another award. Yay us ! (Check out the awards page)

Hows it going ? I'm not bad meself. Had a good Halloween. My sniper managed to bag 56 Halloween Rhymers, and 43 of those he only wounded. Still, none of them made it past the minefield.
The missus is watching Eastenders again. Despite having previously seen it, she's glued to the screen. "Everyones talking about it" Technically i'm not !
Andrew went missing lately, right after the news announced there had been a large bank robbery in the area. He's said to be in the Portstewart area, possibly lying low with Marcel Angel, Elvis and Tupac. Who knows ?
The missus forgot to buy that Pink Floyd album for me. Now i'm stuck listening to her rubbish Linkin Park album. Still, least it's not Steps.
Hallajuha ! (or whatever) I finally got my Preacher graphic novel back off Grum. He's got a computer now, so no-one's safe. I been doing some sampling on my computer. Cool stuff.
